My little one started dropping off the growth charts once we started solids, so here's what I'm feeding her in the morning (after 12 months) to get more calories in. :) My doctor told me to give her "cookies, ice cream and cake!" As someone who has lost 100 pounds, no way am I going to program my baby to prefer junk food!
Got this off of WeeLicious' website, and tweaked it. Serve it once a week for dinner & have leftovers for lunch... Puree the veggies in a food processor, and get lotsa veggie goodness in the kids, and yourself :)

Trying to get my little one to gain some weight. With my lower calorie cooking, and her love of veggies, her weight has steadily lowered itself on the growth charts since introducing solid food, so I am trying to avoid "cookies, cake and ice cream" like her pediatrician suggested, and do it healthfully...
My daughter is allergic to nuts, and all the GF recipes called for nuts... We also like less sugar than most recipes. The original called for 2/3 cup, so I halved it and added molasses.
