A fluffy, tasty, lower fat, higher fiber version of a traditional favorite.
These can be used for NA Indian Tacos or as a sweet treat topped with powdered sugar & cinnamon, maple syrup or honey.
Tastes very good. You can substitute Peaches & Peach Nectar - that tastes good too.
I love nothing more than Roast Poatoes, but trying to cut out the extra fat, I found by spaying the pan with Olive Oil cooking Spray, first, then cut and wedge the potatoes to suit, Lightly spray the poatoes, I sprinkled lightly with garlic powder and mixed herbs (italian seasoning), baked at 425. half way through toss the potatoes and spray the other side, finish cooking...about 1hr total..
Instead of using Lard which the original recipe calls for I use vegetable shortening, You can also use Olive Oil (my favorite way)
