Looks impressive...tastes great! I keep the shells in their holding containers for easy transportation to cookouts, lunches, etc. It protects them from getting broken.

I usually make this when we have family gatherings. Although how to make Gumbo from scratch it's hard to find the ingredients here on the east cost. Zatarains is the closest I've found to the New Orleans favorite. I hope you enjoy it as much as my family.

Mix all ingredients. Roll into golf sized balls and drop into chicken soup. Boil for 45 min. to an hour.
very tasty and healthy. I served it on the Chrismas party in our house, everybody liked it and noone even noticed it was low cal salad .
I boil the chiken with salt and spices and save the broth for the soup
