Uses dry pinto beans washed and picked through. No Need to soak. Everything into a large crockpot. I use celery flakes and lots of pepper. Set the crockpot on high to get started and turn to low after about an hour. Check in about 4 hours for bean tenderness. Or put on low and go to work and come back to dinner ready. Serve with your favorite cornbread or my Dairy Hollow House Cornbread.
