This perfectly seasoned dish is aromatic as it is delicious. The chicken is melt off the bone tender and the potatoes and veggies are scrumptuos. When all the flavors combine it's difficult not to beg for seconds.
Sometimes it's hard to make sure I get enough veggies in my day. Plus, with kids, it's near impossible to get them to eat any! This recipe incorporates a bunch of great veggies, is egg & gluten free, and completely delicious.
Very yummy!!! Could substitute unsalted butter to cut more sodium and wouldn't sacrifice flavor. Broccoli is optional, but makes the meal more filling (and even healthier) To make gluten-free, use cornstarch and water/chicken broth for thickening agent instead of butter roux and serve over rice noodles instead of angel hair.
Drumsticks that are crispy and sweet on the outside and tender and juicy on the inside.
Fast to make, delicious to eat! I used twice as much chicken as the recipe called for to cut down calories & fat per serving, and cut the mayo in 1/2. You could probably make this with 1/2 the butter too and it would still taste good.

I am indebted to SANDYLUVSSPARK for the idea of using Heart Healthy Bisquick in the mix instead of a carb and fat heavy crust, but I added Oat Bran to it as well.
