Wonderful spicy and fun dish using Hunt's Zesty and Spicy Sauce (sorry for the title mistake) as a base.
You can brown up the turkey and veggies and then drain or if I have burritos the night before I use the left over meat and veggie mix makes this, makes this even faster and easier...
Absolutely fantastic!! In an individual pan for only 650 calories...if half of it fills you up, you have the other half for lunch the next day!
This is an easy recipe I make with leftover steak and veggies that I tend to always have on hand. You can add the soy sauce in any amount to suit your taste, but I find that 2 tbsp is usually good enough to get a good flavor on the dish.

I serve this with GABA (germinated brown rice) and Kashmiri spinach but it is also quite nice with naan.
To add nutrients I sprout dry beans rather than use canned. Soak 24 hours and then rinse 2-3 times per day for 2-3 days more before steaming until beans are tender.
This was one of my daddy's favorite recipes for special family meals. While not the "healthiest" for the body, it sure does warm our hearts on very special days!!!
I went through a few weeks wherein I refused to shop for groceries (money was really tight), and towards the end, I had to get pretty creative with our frozen and canned foods.
I love fusion foods, and I had never tried a british/mexican mix before, so I thought I'd give my take on the idea of a shepherd's pie, but in a more mexican light. The "gravy" certainly isn't gravy at all, but it's a surprisingly tasty dish!
The cheese and egg can be easily omitted or substituted (mmm, daiya!) if you want this to be a vegan recipe! Enjoy!
Vegan Mac-N-Cheese that is so creamy you wouldn't believe there is no cheese!
The name says it all. I make these to go with my home made minestrone soup. (please note the nutritional info shown is made with vegan margarine)
