I used Agave Nectar instead of the sugar/ Splenda. I made this with 1 lb frozen peaches instead of the apples, could've added another 1lb of the peaches! Could also use berries.

A delicious grain free, gluten free breakfast dish developed by a friend. Perfect for those followiong a Paleo/Primal diet. This is my version.

Instead of soy flour, I have used oether brown rice flour or white rice flour, and it has always turned out good (at least to me...).
All calculations are made using the original recipe. Directions are also as written on the original recipe.

NUTRITION INFO is NOT CORRECT, because I couldn't find brown rice syrup listed here on this site (and the recipe calls for a different brand of choc chips, ect)
Slightly modified from Eating Clean. Their recipe uses unsalted almond butter and 1/4 tsp sea salt. I substituted salted peanut butter for the unsalted almond butter. I used coconut sugar instead of sucanat and reduced it to 1/2 cup.

recommended serving size are 2 cakes with 150kcal. Perfect for on the go breakfast or after training snack, great for recovery.
2 cakes would give 8g or proteins and 16g of carbs, 5.2g of fiber. great source of Magnesium (30%DV) and Manganese (22%DV). Iron, copper, B6 and phosphor for about 9%DV.
Almond flour can be hard to work with, so my first attempt at this was to make it into a pie. Delicious. I have also subitiuted the almond flour with coconut flour. Though the coconut flour is harder to work with it still tastes great.
Custardy bananas for breakfast. The kids should like 'em. I could have probably added a bit more flax, and will next time to see how it works out.
