My kids have labeled this sauce "mommy's special spaghetti sauce". I obtained the recipe from watching my Italian step-father make it over the years. I have it listed as vegetarian although meat can be added to it ie: Italian sausages and meatballs (recipe to follow), ground beef or stewing beef.

This is a dressing that I made in conjunction with a special diet I am on. I have a hard time processing fats so I omitted the oils. You can add a mild oil like grapeseed or canola (1/2 cup). A great side dish! The beans are a perfect companion for main course protiens.
This soup tastes similar to Carrabba's sausage and lentil soup. Very savory, a little spicy. Comfort food.

This is a very quick sauce, and it comes out right every time. An old family recipe.

Everybody loves spaghetti! Feel good serving up this low-calorie, low-fat version of a family favorite
