Interesting combination of flavors and a nice little ice cube treat.
Fills you because you eat each ice cube individually so it takes longer to let it settle.
shred cabbage
cube eggplant
brown turkey
shred cheese
1.pour about 1 cup in bottom of large baking dish
2.layer 1/2 cabbage, 1/2 eggplant and 1/2 turkey.
3. pour 1/2 of tomato sauce on top.
4. repeat #2 & #3 finishing off ingredients
5. sprinkle cheese on top
6. bake at 350 for approx. 45 - 60 minutes until cheese lightly browns.
This is a pizza that I put together to use up a huge zucchini and to try out our first eggplant of the season. For the basil, I used a leaf from our Mammoth Basil.

This is a spin-off of a recipe I found in a cookbook of which I cannot remember the name. :) My teenage boys usually have two servings. If you use vegetable broth instead of chicken broth, it's vegan.
I had to modify a cornbread recipe for a detox period in which I couldn't have wheat, soy, or dairy. (A very small amount of butter was okay, so I added a bit for flavor. I don't plan to be on this diet long, so this is quite a small amount: fills a 7" cast-iron pan, or probably half a dozen small muffins.
A white clam sauce with lots of garlic and even more parsley. Most recipes call for just a few tablespoons of parsley, but the greens hold the flavor of the clams and help spread it all over the pasta. I make a pot of this on my day off and divide it into microwavable lunches for my whole week.
