An excellent breakfast meal that's very filling. Plus, it's good for you!
This is it - the famous low-carb, Fathead Pizza crust! It's a pizza base made from cheese, almond flour, spices, an egg and more cheese. You'll love it!
I remade Chili's Boneless Buffalo Chicken Salad because I really like chicken salads and I like hot wings. This recipe cuts the original's calories by about half. Most of the savings comes in baking the chicken in panko instead of frying the chicken in a batter.
NOTE: After thinking about it and reading some comments, I changed the wing sauce amount in the nutrition calculator to be 1 serving (1 Tbsp.) instead of the 8 that I had originally to match the ingredients list (the amount of sauce used is not equal to the amount you consume). It's still higher in sodium than I'd like, but I think the recipe is a good first cut. I'll keep tinkering with it.
These biscuits are made from sprouted spelt or wheat flour and yogurt. Sprouted flour is easier to digest and increases protein and vitamins, although that is not accounted for in the nutritional info because it is not available. You could use lower fat dairy products, but these keep my blood sugar stable.
My mom's meatloaf always called for 1lb of ground beef, 1 egg, 1 sleeve of saltines, and 1 can of cream of mushroom soup... delicious, but not exactly healthy! This recipe is my healthy take on "Mom's Meatloaf".
I'm making over Burger Kings Sausage, Egg & Cheese Croissanwich which contains 460 calories, 31g fat, 215mg cholesterol and 1000mg sodium. This make over will help manage your calories (300), fat(10g), sodium (845mg) and also your cholesterol (20mg). Now that's Healthy!!!
I eat this when I'm having a craving for something satisfying, creamy, and sweet. Great way to curb your craving for cheesecake! The ricotta cheese is already a sweet cheese and has a great texture. This is a light, low fat, tasty, and best of all-quick to prepare snack or dessert.
Patties that are filled with flavor and vitamins. Great for a summer grill out.
When you are out of brown sugar of trying to reduce the sugar...
This is from Jillian Michaels' Master Your Metabolism Cookbook. THese brownies are outrageously moist and intensely chocolatey.
