This is an incredibly awesome recipe from Kitty.. When you use fat free pretzels and fat free margarine it is even lower in cals and it is so good! My family didnt even know it was reduced cals/fat!
A friend of mine passed along this recipe. I have made a few adjustments and lowered the calorie content.
This is a truly simple egg dish- bake once and you have breakfast for the week! Seal individual servings in ziploc bags. Can be frozen- to reheat just thaw in the fridge before microwaving to avoid soggy eggs.
Inspired from a delicious-looking recipe on FatFree Vegan (http://blog.fatfreevegan.com/2007/04/whit
e-bean-and-garlic-stew.html)... It looks like a lot of garlic, but it's nice and sweet and mellow. Don't worry!
If you like conch chowder, try this version using calamari. It is thick and hearty with robust seafood flavour and just enough spiciness to tickle the tongue. This recipe calls for both the squid tubes and tentacles, but if you don't care for the tentacles, simply use an equal amount of the body instead. This method adds the squid rings last so they remain tender with little cooking.
Chicken thighs are higher in iron than breasts, and without the skin they're still low in fat. The flavour in these pies is delicious, with the carmelized onions blending into a rich sauce. If you have the time, make your own pie shells - it's so much better than store-bought.
This is quick and easy. This is one way to make this pizza. You can change up toppings like any other pizza. This is one of my favorites.
You can also substitute raisins for the figs if desired. Muffins can be frozen or stored in an airtight container for a week if not eaten right away.
May also substitute soy, rice, or almond milk for the 1%.
This is a great recipe for a gluten free, sugar free or low calorie diet. We use a Blendtec blender (similar to a VitaMix Blender). You could also try using a food processor. Makes a very light ice cream - more like ice milk vs. a heavy ice cream - but a refreshing summer treat nonetheless!
I use this recipe to replace the pasta in my Italian recipes with zucchini. This works best if you have a mandolin or spiralizer.
(Other versions on here are lighter ... I prefer mine decadent, with real butter and sugar!)
