I came up with this recipe to help use up ham after a holiday. Can be divided & frozen to be used for a future dinner(s). As there is only my Husband & I at home, I divide this into several meals & freeze the extra for future use.
This is just a recipe that I was courious about. I wanted to see the calorie count for it, so here it is.
Wonderful--will make you want to lick the plate! I eat it with plenty of fall veggies (or butternut squash soup--yum!) and a slice of whole wheat bread.
This makes an elegant and delicious meal.
The directions look long and complicated, but it's really not! You'll make the sauce while the chops finish cooking in the oven. The rosemary and apple taste great with the pork chops. Browning the chops in a bit of oil adds a lot of flavor, or just sear the chops in a hot pan if yours are a bit more fatty.
