My very own quiche creation! Yummy!
After trying quiche for the first time this week and loving it, I thought I'd create something yummy and unique that helps me get my veggies and protein in too!!
Shrimp with Classico Tomato Basil Sauce and roasted vegetables. You can make the sauce from scratch but I was in a hurry.
This garden salad is a nice cool entrée for a hot humid night. It is made with chick peas, bean sprouts, tuna, tomato, green pepper, celery, cucumber and romaine lettuce.
This recipe is easy and fast. It lends itself beautifully to any white fish. It goes grat with okra.
This is a low-carb recipe that is fast and easy. Tastes great with little prep time. You can also saute the onions and substitute egg beaters for the eggs as variations!!! Have fun with this one and experiment!
This is adapted from the recipe used for the movie Ratatouille, from Thomas Keller's "The French Laundry" cookbook
I cut down the recipe to make a smaller batch of small pancakes, and substituted yogurt for the usual buttermilk. Makes a really tender pancake.
These are tuna patties, but since my kids claim to hate tuna but love SpongeBob, I have always called them Crabby Patties. They never questioned what was in them once I called them Crabby Patties. They ate them up and were none the wiser! In fact, I only just told them last year that it was tuna. By then, they loved them too much to complain. My son has enjoyed them since age four...he's 13 now.
