This is a modification of my first smoothie recipe with input from a nutritionist. Hubby and I are satisfied all morning. Try other frozen fruit for a different flavor.
Wash, hull & slice strawberries, Mix with 1/2 the glaze. Spoon strawberries into graham crust & spread the rest of the glaze over all. Chill for about 2 hours before serving. You can top it with your choice of whipped toppings and garnish with strawberries .
I made this recipe up based on a recipe we had to make in my college's Kitchen Production class. This is a rich all-in-one casserole dish that's great for winter warming.
Suitable for breakfast, lunch,tea or coffee breaks, snack, or tea-party,
Can be sliced and frozen.
Stores for 2 weeks if wrapped in clingfilm and kept in refridgerator.
This is breakfast for me. Filling and completes my fruits for the day.
