Apple Spice Cake Recipes

I adapted this moist, low(ish) fat cake from The Newlywed Cookbook by Robin Miller, baking the topping (which I added pecans and almonds to) onto the top of the cake rather than sprinkling it on after baking. It's a wonderful morning snack!

This is a really easy and quick cake using a boxed cake mix, to have in the fall when it's apple season. Preparing the apples takes the most time, so recruit help from the family!

A great cool-weather cake. It gets better and better as it ripens. It is great with the warm brown sugar sauce, included.

No brown sugar sauce included, was not added to the nutritionals in the previous recipe anyway.

A nice, super easy cake I created after going apple picking and coming home with way too many apples. I really like this recipe because I almost always have all of the ingredients on hand.

The frosting for this cake is Salted Caramel Frosting, separate recipe. This is a double layer cake using a 9 inch round pan.
