Nutrition & Calorie Comments  

This was really good. My boyfriend who doesn't care about his calorie intake could only say "Wow". He loved it. I sprinkled just a little parmesan cheese on top.
As is, this recipe is good. The chicken is so moist! But I agree that it needs some extra kick. I would definitely add brown sugar to really bring the flavor of the apples up a notch!
A bit bland at first, We used walnuts instead of almonds. I heated up some apples and chopped walnuts with a dash of brown sugar. I used this as a topping which made it taste much better. Even my kids liked it.
