Nutrition & Calorie Comments

Used avocado mayo instead of Miracle Whip. Used 1/4 c sugar. And subbed dried cherries for craisins. Family loved it.
I added a little cheese and substituted Splenda for the sugar. This was a huge hit!
We weren't keen on the dressing. Just sugar and vinegar doesn't go with such great ingredients. I'll try the suggestion to use honey and cider vinegar with yogurt for creaminess
I make this often. I do it for company and they ask for the recipe. I half the sugar we have diabetic friends and it works. Pat in Maine.
I used low fat Hellman's and substituted Craisins for raisins and sunflower seeds for almonds, and it was delicious. I think I will try red onions next time and maybe almonds. Definitely a recipe I will use again and again.
I will try this again. I found it too sweet--will use less sugar. I also used low-fat dressing instead of fat-free so I will try fat-free next time for fewer calories and fat grams. Overall, a tasty way to enjoy broccoli!
I reduced the sugar to 2T and used apple cider vinegar for more tang. Instead of raisins, I had some craisins. I also blanched the broccoli and mixed it all together while warm. Set it in the fridge to cool. Awesome addition to our grilled chicken dinner.
Loved this salad. Used turkey bacon, substituted 1/3 C of mayo w/plain greek yogurt, 1/3C mayo w/wasabi mayo (Trader Joe's) and cut the sugar in half. Also added cherry tomatoes and sliced cucumbers. My husband finished it off!
I make a version very similar to this, and it's always delish!! I use apple cider vinigar instead of white, instead of sugar I use honey, and for the creaminess I substitute half the mayo for greek yogurt. It's always popular at picnics!!
I used half FF Miracle WHip and half greek yogurt, also used Splenda instead of sugar. Great!
My family makes the full calorie version, but this looks just as good. I used red onions instead and zylitol for sugar. now i'm trying to wait till supper to eat it!
Used sunflower seeds instead of almonds and fat free mayo instead of miracle whip. Tasted great, a keeper/
This is my first broccoli salad that I have ever made. My husband likes it so I thought I would give it a try since it is low cal. I used splenda instead of the sugar. It is wonderful. I will be making it many more times. Thank you for sharing.
I thought this was way too creamy and too sweet. I think I'll try it again with about half the recommended dressing and with less than the recommended sugar, or just double the broccoli since I thought it needed more. Also I definitely prefer mayo over Miracle Whip.
I make this salad all the time and I just love it, I do do something different I blanh the brocolli and add yhe dressing while it is still hot(it seems to get into the brocolli better. I also skip the raisans and add cubed low fat chedder cheese
Yum! This was is really good. I have been looking for a healthier, low-cal, brocolli salad. I used 1/2 splenda, and 1/2 sugar. I made it to take to a BBQ tomorrow, hope every one likes it.
