A tasty, common sandwich with cheddar cheese.
Tastes great with a bowl of tomato soup!
My kids love this simple recipe. They ask me to make it then bring their friends for dinner. The kids have named it "Slop."
Kids can help out with this recipe, as it is great for boxed lunches. They can help to shred cheese, and cut up tomatoes. They can also roll out dough, fill pockets and press them shut
I first made this as a way to get calcium into my diet, since im not fond of milk.
Mini Banana Muffins using honey as sweetener instead of sugar. Almost fat-free... except for the walnuts and egg yolk. Moist, delicious... and only 38 calories each!
Super high in vitamins and minerals, plus protein - just add ice cubes and crush! It sounds gross, but you really cannot taste the veggies. :) Plus it turns out an awesome shade of green - try freezing in a popsicle tray for fun hot weather treats for your little ones!
I have been making this for years and granted the calories and fats are higher, I make this recipe when the rest of my day has been pretty low calorie and it goes great with some whole wheat french bread and a green salad! The kids love it!
My kids only eat fish if I fry it, so this was my way of reducing the caloric intake and still making it likeable for my little guys. It is really good!

Remove the oil from the pancakes by substituting the applesauce. Skip the syrup since you have the chocolate chips.
stolen from another website!! A very flexible recipe though. Nutrition info is calculated based on two cups of chocolate chips (alot), and full butter. I make mine with 1/2 cup butter and 1/4 c. applesauce, and 1 cup chocolate chips and then assorted dried fruits, flax seed and sunflower seeds. Super yummy!! for weight watchers....6 pts./bar.
great meal if your kids like mac and cheese and won't eat their vegetable's

This yummy sauce is an excellent way to sneak vegetables into your children's diet! this recipe makes a whole lot and freezes well.
This is my response to the corn syrup laden fruit & jello cups that my daughter loves so much. For serving this, I recommend the XS gladlock storage bowls that hold around 5oz. This recipe makes 24 of those. I'm sure you can use other size containers, just be sure to account for that in the serving size, as that will up the calories (as well as everything else). Also, the ONLY sweetener added to this is the honey. The juice has no added sugar (all natural fruit sugars only) and the fruit cocktail is in light syrup that I drain *before* putting it in the bowls.
The Knox Gelatine box has a recipe on it for fruit jello, but I didn't like it. It was too solid and too sweet... so I changed the quantities, added fruit and honey, and this is what I came up with.
