this is an awesome combo for a salad! I just mixed all the ingredients in a mason jar and then shake it all together!

Hearty Beef Barley Soup
Makes 9 one cup servings perfect for chilly winter days
Since the calorie content is so low I usually pair with a biscuit or corn muffin or double the serving without any guilt
New to hummus, but I wanted something with a little more flavor than what I had found. This does the trick. Perfect with pita chips.
Fairly easy one pot meal. I get my Italian sausage from my co-op, so the nutritional info is not available, but depending on the meat you use, this can be a low-fat, low-sodium meal, gluten free meal
5 link pkg. of the low fat chicken and pork Italian sausage, remove casings,brown in skillet,chop into small pieces. Use paper towels to press & remove grease. ( I cut 1/2 of the fat in calculation)
Salt free tortilla chips (3 serv = 33 round chips)
1or 2 sm. Can green chilies.
1 two cup pkg of 2% grated cheese
6 eggs lg
6 egg whites
0.5 teaspoon (or more if you like) ground cumin
