Dr. Pericone website recipe - not very specific on amounts. So, I added what I used. Best marinated overnight. Can use more or less onion. Pretty if onion is in rings.

This is wonderful to make one evening and save for the next afternoon's get together. This has enough fat and calories to still be special occasions only. For a nice twist, we are going to use chocolate lasagna that we bought at the farmer's market last week.
Easy Tuna Salad. My husband loves tuna salad but takes forever to make it. This is super easy and light in calories too!
This version of hummus is lower in fat and cholesterol and store bought, but just as delicious! Based on a recipe from Eating for Lower Cholesterol. Serve with cut up veggies, pita chips or one of my new faves, pretzel crisps.
I'm not so sure that the nutritional info is correct, but I know this recipe is much healthier then if it were made with mayo and sour cream.
this is good with jicama slices, but i love using it as a spread for wraps with a little turkey and tons of veggies.
These are super easy if you have leftover barbecue chicken. I calculated nutrition info from prepackaged chicken strips.
Craving chips and dip? Try these instead! You can also add any spices you want - onion powder or garlic powder both work great. I imagine oregano might as well, or if you're in the mood for sweet instead of salty, maybe a little finely ground cinnamon sugar would be just the ticket! I brought two batches of these to Easter dinner last spring, with a bowl of homemade hummus to dip them in. There were none to bring back home!
These brownies are a great alternative to any chocolate cake cravings! They are moist and flavorful. You can't even taste the black beans.
This salad is a wonderful sweet and sour mix. Makes a great lunch by itself or with some grilled chicken or packaged tuna. Also added sliced almonds and tomatoes, not figured into nutritional values.
I LOVE tyrosalata - one of my favorite Greek dips! This was a recipe that I created and can also be found on my recipezaar account.
This goes great on pitas or Lavash, chicken or fresh vegetables. Yum! I was trying to find a substitute for Trader Joe's Spicy Feta Dip because my family will no longer buy it because it contains canola oil. This is not as thick and clumpy due to the fact I put it in the blender. I'll try to give the closest measurements I can because I made it by just throwing things into the blender.
