Using a hearty multi-grain gives this French toast lots of texture and is very filling. I topped mine with a berry sauce which I made with 1 cup of berries and a little honey to sweeten.

* If using mature swiss chard, separate stalk from base of leaf and chop and steam stalk for a few minutes until slightly tender. (I precooked mine in microwave steamer).

I put these toppings on the whole wheat thin crust pizza dough recipe by SP 'AZIAS_MOMMY'. This is really great and freezes well (topped ... or just freeze the rolled out dough). This makes a nice lunch for under 300 calories. I like to make some to keep in the freezer for days I can't cook from scratch.
1 1/2 cups regular oat meal
1 cup flour
1 tbs baking powder
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp cinimon
1 tsp vanilla
1 egg
1 cup nonfat milk
1 cup fresh blueberries
Tasty and satisfying. Can add, remove or change ingredients depending on what you have on hand, or to tweak the calories. This recipe tastes rich and delicious, the kids love it. Tastes great reheated.
