I hate eating fruit so to get my daily intake I just blend it all together and it tastes sooo good :)
A stress busting smoothie packed with anti-oxidants and vitamins.
This is my favourite fruit smoothie, packed with antioxidants from the berries, aswell as Vitamins C & K is useful amounts. The almond butter adds calcium and magnesium, though can be substituted with another nut butter or taken out completely. Maple syrup controls blood sugar levels, and adds sweetness. The banana acts to thicken the smoothie, and is best frozen. It is also a source of potassium which increases metabolism.
I just threw this together for breakfast this morning and it actually turned out pretty well. I wanted to make sure I didn't forget it.
I made this and was very surprised how rich it tasted with so few calories! This one is a keeper
