Murgh aur masoor dal is really like a hearty stew, perfect for cold winter days. You could add vegetables to it as well, such as shelled peas or 1/2-inch lengths of green beans. It you do this, put in the vegetables at about the same time as you in the lemon juice.
Of all the dals, this one perhaps has the “meatiest” taste. If you cannot find Chana Dal sold by an Indian grocer, substitute yellow split peas. This dal can be served with rice.
This is my revamp of a recipe submitted by LONESOMEDOVE120, I added more veggies because I like to have lots of veggies in my curries, and I added some additional spices for more flavor. I also included quanties in my recipe to make it easier for others to follow.
Very Easy dish, serve with rice
Can be made into a soup with additional water and vegetables.
It tastes ok. Based off of Spark People's recipe, but a little more lazy since dump and pour recipes are easier than having leftover frozen vegetables sitting around.

(I only use 3 pieces of chicken instead of 4 as the original recipe calls for. I also use less cream.)
A nice, sweet and natural curry. Serve over rice. Omit to chicken for a vegan option.
Delicious warming vegetable korma, perfect for a cold winter's night. Use any vegetables you have available (adding potatoes will up the calorie count though)
