From the LDL book. I have modified it somewhat: I omit the olives and add more mushrooms and beef and spices. The pinto beans amp up the carbs and keeps you feeling full longer. I also like the high protein value. You can also substitute ground turkey for the lean sirloin, but I think the flavor is diminished.
All vegetables are fresh, except frozen peas. Do not cook anything. Use small cherry tomatoes or grape tomatoes whole. Cut cheese in small square pieces. Chop up veggies, put in gallon size ziplock bag, add dressing and cheese and marinate for at least one hour.
Pantry staples combine for a quick, delicious dinner. Use the extra wine sauce on rice or veggies.
After reading several other recipes that didn't quite meet up to my expectations I created one of my own that worked so well. I hope you all enjoy it as well.
Just toss whatever you have in the fridge together, that's what I do lol.
