Very Easy to put together. Very tasty spicy lasagna like dish.
Makes 10 servings in a 13x9 baking dish.
Great fall recipe - add all ingredients into slow cooker and its ready in the evening. Chicos are roasted sweet corn that has been dried, they lend a nice flavor to this recipe. Addition of chili flakes or powder will add a spicyness to the soup and is completely optional.
Very Yummy Muffins - take a bit of prep work but well worth it if you are in the mood to bake. Muffins are very dense and filling. Tip: Cool and wrap individually, freeze. Great for a quick breakfast.
This recipe makes 16-18 muffins or 2 loaves of bread.
You can also add 1/2 cup chopped nuts or replace the cranberries with berries of your choice. You may also omit the granulated sugar and salt to make it a bit healthier.
