These are so easy to make and bake. It is really Paula Deen's Magical Peanut Butter Cookie recipe but I used real sugar on top, so needed the calorie counts for that.
This came from my Mom via my sister in law Kim. She doesn't ice them, but rather decorates with some colored sugar for the holidays. First time out I made the frosting too thick - it should be more of a glaze so I'll give it another shot. (I halved the whole recipe, but did not do so with the powdered sugar - oops -they were still tasty!)
Because I cut out half the sugar of a "normal" recipe, this bread is not as sweet as others. It's good enough for me and I prefer the calories in my recipe over others like it.
