Party Recipes (Most Popular)
I had the munchies one night, and a bare pantry. I threw together this crispy tortilla snack and I find it quite tasty, and easy to make. Would make a good garnish instead of croutons for a salad. Could possibly be used with dips or spreads (hadn't tried that yet). I generally eat them in place of chips. And serve at parties.
I enjoy eating fresh raw vegetables because they're low in calories, high in nutrients, and have plenty of fiber. IMHO It's a great way to fill you up pretty solidly for a meager calorie allotment.
I'm not sure how many this "feeds" as it's more of a snack. I based it on feeding 15 people. Which would be about 1/4 cup each I think. You could cut back on the feta if you'd like to take down the calories & fat. This makes a LOT of dip. It's kind of like a hummus. Serve with pitas or whole wheat crackers (not included in nutritional info)
I"m addicted to Mocha Frappes and had to find some way to get that flavor without the 500 calories. This is pretty darn close. I'm still tweaking this. Please let me know if you have any suggestions.
The calorie count is for 1/2 cup mix and 1/2 cup 1% milk.
****Keep in mind this is a Lite Version. If you want to make it closer to real thing then replace 3/4 cup no calorie sweetner with 3/4 cup sugar for a total of 1 cup sugar.
Great appetizer - very popular - disappears quickly! My kids like them for dinner!
A fresh burst of fizz combined with the sweetness of chocolate and strawberries makes this a healthy and delicious party appetizer or dessert.
This is not the low calorie version... but it is the Darn good one ! It makes 2 quarts of dip and if you stick to 2 tbsp... you only are eating 115 calories. But sticking to 2 tablespoons has proven most difficult for me!
The protein from the black beans can make this side dish a main meal. You can also add diced chicken for a little extra protein punch!!!
Quick, easy and delicious!! Good for kids, the big game, and as we call it "munchie meals".
This chili is for those who don't like the texture of vegetables. It's spicy and delicious.
Easy Carne Asada tacos. You can use either corn or flour tortillas. Use corn tortillas if you want more authentic tasting tacos.
The only thing you spend time doing on this dish really is just cooking the lean ground beef or ground turkey. And all you have to do is just chop up the lettuce and 1 or 2 tomatoes. Everything else you just add in. This is a dip that has ground beef in it. Take that away and you have a vegetarian dish! Either way it's filling. You can make this a quick and easy dinner or you can have this for lunch. Don't forget the chips!
This is great at any type of get together. People love it because it's rich and creamy, but you know that it's low in fat!
