Short-grain brown rice holds together well and adds a nutty flavor that complements the almonds in these tasty burgers. Serve on their own with a sauce or chutney, or on burger rolls with all the trimmings.
Mix in fat free yogurt, mayo, minced garlic clove, oregano, ground cumin, salt.
Toss in can of drained garbanzo beans, onion rings, diced cucumber and romaine lettuce and mix gently.
Add diced tomato and feta cheese and mix lightly.
Microwave pita till warm.
Cut pita to half and fill in the veggie mixture. Serve with lemon wedges.

I love this quick burger. SInce the cheese is already in the burger itself, there is no need to add any extra on top when the burger is done. The cheese also takes the place of eggs to help the burger stay together better..
