Made to fill sandwiches...good for leftover roast turkey...no salt added.
Using some leftover chicken, using what I have in the house and garden AND trying to keep it low cal/fat after over doing it at a picnic, I threw together this quick concoction. Makes enough just for one, is quick and easy so I can make it fresh daily. Add whatever herbs you like - the fat free tartar sauce is becoming a staple - comes in a small jar, I was throwing away jars of mayo / miracle whip cause by myself I didn't use enough and it would go bad. It has tang like Miracle whip.
I wrapped it in some homegrown lettuce/romaine to really limit my calories.
My family's favorite holiday leftover meal.
Great way to use up leftover turkey, dressing, and gravy. Also a good way to extend the turkey when you need to feed a lot of people with limited leftovers. Keep some stuffing mix on hand and some canned gravy. Can be made is a crockpot or in a casserole without the buns for a potluck dinner.
I love sloppy joes but it's diffently not a healthy choice unless you modify it. It's simple and easy to change. Basically all you are doing is replace ground beef for ground white turkey or you can even use ground white chicken. If you like the cheesy flavor add some weight watchers mexican style cheese or any fat-free cheese of your choice. Serve on a wheat bun with a side of asparagus or steamed green beans.
This spread is great on almost any sandwich. I love it on Italian style cold sandwiches.
This is a recipe that I came up with myself. I always made it by the add and dump method, never measuring anything. When we did a cookbook for the parent's 50th anniversary, my sister insisted that I make it and measure everything so I could put it in the cookbook. She absolutely loves it.
A serving size is about 2 Tbsp.
We love these wraps, and sometimes add extra veggies or use hot BBQ sauce. Also, can use left over roasted or grilled chicken. Very easy... Enjoy!
This is a good recipe for people that like the Subway Buffalo Chicken sandwich. You can change the ingredients to fit your tastes. My recipe is for one sandwich. It only takes about 15 minutes, so it's great for those of us who are always on the go.
