You can use raw or frozen chicken. Combine it all, except cream cheese, in the crockpot, sprinkle the dip packet over it all, and then cook it on high for 4 hours or 6 on low total. 40 mins before end time, add cream cheese (so it does not curdle beforehand) and shred the chicken with forks/mix it all up.
