YUMMMM, these come from the Hungry Girl website. You need to use quite a bit of italian seasoning.
A great caramel / coffee glaze that forms over warm sauteed bananas makes for a great tropical treat on it's own or over vanilla yogurt or ice cream.
This fruity chocolaty smoothie gives me a great morning boost. I usually make double this recipe and keep it in my fridge so that I can quickly grab it and drink it in the morning.
I got this recipe from recipe zaarLovely lush muffins which you can varietise with different berries, fruit (fresh and dry) and nuts. Very easy to make.
This is a muffin adapted from a Cook Yourself Thin recipe. I left the nuts out because not everyone in my house can eat them plus they add fat.
Enhanced Oopsie Roll recipe made with peanut butter for a dairy free version ( instead of cream cheese). I would say it is way better than the original Oopsie Roll because it has more structure to it and is very bread- like. It is best served of course with some jelly or your other favorite toppings. Enjoy!
I was looking for a low point Banana Nut Muffin recipe, and I couldn't find one I liked. So I put this together and it turned out really good. Extra fiber from the oatmeal, and omega 3's from the walnuts, so there are added health benefits to these too. They make 12 big muffins.
When I was in Belgium, we were treated to this wonderful open -aced sandwich. The cheese they use is not cream cheese, but that is the closest thing we can get around here. If you are a fan of fresh radishes, you might like this one.
Great smoothie for breakfast or a snack. Each serving of smoothie gives you about 4 servings of fruit. Great substitute for the smoothies you can get at fast food places that are filled with sugar and fat. I buy the fruit in the summer when it's less expensive, cube it, and freeze it to have during the winter months. Make sure to thaw the fruit, at least most of the way, before blending or it can clog the blender.
Desperate for chocolate, popcorn, and salt, I stopped and created this at home. Stove-popped popcorn in coconut oil was my base, and I added other items I had on hand (all measured and portioned out into 7 different baggies). This could EASILY be adapted and made lower-calorie, but I'm happy with what I have!
My next variation will switch out the M&Ms for organic chocolate chips, but I wanted to use these M&Ms up in a healthier way.
This muffin batter will keep in your fridge for up to seven weeks so you can have fresh muffins all the time!
I saw this on a Weight Watcher email and wanted to see what the calories turned out to be versus WW points.
Replace the yolk in traditional deviled eggs with heart-healthy hummus for a great treat/snack! So yummy!
