Thanksgiving Recipes (Most Popular)
I love the Three-P-Soup recipe in my "Simmering Solutions" slow-cooker cookbook and I wanted to see if I could use the ingredients to make something else flavorful. The following recipe is the result of my efforts. Tasters immediately asked for the recipe! Feel free to add more peanut butter, mustard and/or nutmeg according to your palate.
Serve this with vegetables, on crackers (it would taste great on Trader Joe’s Rosemary Raisin Crisps), sliced apples or on slices of a baguette. You can feel good about serving this to guests who may be trying to lose weight, as the amount of calories per serving is lower than many dips and spreads. Those who are committed to eating mostly whole foods and cleanly will love it as well. It would be great to serve for a Thanksgiving or holiday appetizer.
Tastes great without milk or egg or sugar As a diabetic with egg allergy I have been searching for this recipe for years.
This is absolutely brilliant on a fall night for supper
From Ina Garten...the most AMAZING meatloaf! You would never know it is not beef!
*Recipe has been paired down - originally called for FIVE POUNDS of turkey!
This is the first year that I have tried this and I will update you on the reviews. My goal is to cut the amount of fat and sodium. There is no added salt what so ever in this and the sodium level for one cup/serving isn't too bad. More to com
If you don't add the whip cream, each portion is 84 Cal, 2 Fat, and 13 Carbs (with dietary fiber calculated).
A great warm idea for cool autumn morning. Add additional items like raisins and walnuts for more texture.
a delicious and filling meal that is a favorite with both kids and adults. This receipt is a single batch that can be, ( will most likely have to be) doubled and tripled.
Is also great to make double or triple batches that can be cut into 1/2 cups servings and froze for later easy meals.
Not really diet friendly but a delicious fall treat! Adapted from a Better Homes and Gardens recipie but I changed the crust from Graham crakers to Oreo crumbs and pecans since everything is better with chocolate! The original recipie also calls for caramel sauce to be drizzled on top but I think that makes it too sweet.
I replaced a portion of the sugar with equal which helps with the sugar and calories but the taste is still there. I make it crustless since I prefer no crust but you can bake in a crust just add the additional calories
okay...it does need to sit in the fridge for a couple hours - but it takes about 8 minutes to make...which is almost instant.
This was always a favorite of mine at Thanksgiving. I have to carry on the tradition.
