I think I will have to try these with nut flours. Then I can dump the sugar.
very good and fluffy pancakes. Love these. Wish restaurants etc would catch on that you can make something wonderful and healthy at the same time without all the oil and sugar. Used all white whole wheat flour from King Arthur and skipped added sugar in them.
to make this recipe vegan I used 1 TBsp ground flaxseed and 3 TBsp warm water mixed and set aside for the egg whites and used almond milk in place of the skim milk. Everything else I kept the same. Next time I will try it without the brown sugar. My husband loved them!
We just had these for dinner. I used egg substitute instead of whites and added blueberries and it was ABSOLUTELY DELISH! We had veggie sausage patties to accompany & used sugar free maple syrup. Hubby adored them--and we WILL be having these again!
Great recipe! I have never been able to make a good pancake, but these turned out light and fluffy and I love that they are so low in calories :)
Loved them!!! I sauteed a banana and some pecans in 1 tsp butter added some water and 1Tbsp of brown sugar for syrup. YUM.
I made these this morning and loved them. Will definitely make them again except next time I am going to use Splenda brown sugar instead of regular....
