Highly satisfying and easy-to-make brownies - could be better to have whole wheat flour in the ingredients, but this is better than eating regular brownies anyway
My dad was an old fashion type chef and if there was one thing he loved was Maitre D' butter. It's an easy way to "pump up the volume" on a really good steak. This is somewhat of a departure from the traditional butter, but it rocks, nonetheless.
I healthed up a recipe i found on recipezaar by using whole wheat pastery flour, more oatmeal, flax seed, a little less dark chocolate and some coconut. Depending upon how long you cook them-7 minutes is a soft chewy cookie and 10 is a crunchy cookie. The special thing about them is that they taste more like a flour cookie than an oatmeal cookie because you turn the oatmeal into flour by blending it..
A recipe by Phyllis Glazer, a food journalist. Tastes just like the real thing, with a great moist texture. The best brownie I ever had!
You can slice as many cookies as you want. Make several logs and keep in freezer for ready bake cookies.
Red, Yellow & Orange sweet peppers mixed with chopped cucumbers and tomatoes, olive oil, parsley, salt and pepper.
THhis has all the great taste of a traditional cherry crisp without all of the fat and calories. Cooking the topping does take a little skill. This is a perfect desert to take to lunch!
This is our version of a crustless pumpkin pie. All the goodness of pumpkin without the shortening and while flour in a crust.
This recipe I had in my collections but never made and I finally thought..."hey, I have a sweet tooth and this would be healthier than the candy that I crave"! So when I have a sweet tooth then I can grab one of these from the freezer!!! I substituted some ingredients to make it less cals, but I will put the original in the ingredients list.
I got this recipe from Taste of Home and used Fat Free evaporated milk instead reduced fat. It tastes great. I didn't have a 9 x 9 square pan to make 81 pieces so I used my 11 x 7 Pyrex and made 96 smaller pieces. Each piece is probably about .3 oz or so. Very tasty if you like cranberries.
