Made this up as I went along tonight, needing to eat the entire day's carbs without adding a ton more fat or protein, as I was there already.
I use London Broil (top round roast) to make this recipe because it is very lean and I can easily cut off all the visible fat before cooking. I buy several roasts at a time and freeze them. When I'm ready to make hash I slightly thaw the meat so that I can dice it easily with a steak knife.
I modified the directions on the Pamela's cornbread & muffin mix to make a bit lighter
This is an easy side dish that goes well with meat or poultry. It is also a good take along dish
This recipe is on the back of Orca Heritage Beans package. It is very good so I thought I'd share it.
Had veggies from the store. Wanted to make them tasty. Fat + Salt helps with that.
This is my go to recipe for homemade rolls for family dinners. You could add 1 t salt if you like.
This is a great bread. It's also wonderful for fall because it is cinnamon raisan, and because of the tomato soup it's kind of dark and heavy like a pumpkin bread. (Don't worry, you can't taste the tomato soup!)
In this recipe, I halved the original recipe to make 1 loaf, and I made minor adjustments to the ingredients. Also, I changed the serving size. Realistically, in my family one serving is about 1/8 of the loaf or 1 thick slice.

Corn bread made into mini muffin tins let you feel like you are really getting a treat!
I was looking for a way to cook broccoli that was tasty but did not have all of the cheese....and this is what my sister told me.
Saute onion and veggies in olive oil. remove from heat. Brown orzo in skillet. Add enough water to chicken stock to equal 4.5cups. Add all ingredients to 9x13 pan. wrap with foil, bake a 400 degrees until all moisture is absorbed (about 60-90 min). Remove from oven and fluff rice. add parsely.
The name says it all basically! I guess I could have thrown lemon pepper in there too, but that would be just a super long name. All of these ingredients are really just add to your desired taste, but for the sake of writing it down in recipe form I made measurements.
For a little extra kick, I like to put 2 Tbsp of Crushed Red Pepper in the mixture. For lower salt, use low salt Soy Sauce or leave out the Soy Sauce all together.
