I remade Chili's Boneless Buffalo Chicken Salad because I really like chicken salads and I like hot wings. This recipe cuts the original's calories by about half. Most of the savings comes in baking the chicken in panko instead of frying the chicken in a batter.
NOTE: After thinking about it and reading some comments, I changed the wing sauce amount in the nutrition calculator to be 1 serving (1 Tbsp.) instead of the 8 that I had originally to match the ingredients list (the amount of sauce used is not equal to the amount you consume). It's still higher in sodium than I'd like, but I think the recipe is a good first cut. I'll keep tinkering with it.
Paneer is a kind of fresh Indian cheese. It is simple to make and I personally find it as delicious as cheddar or mozzarella.
This is a good and easy pasta sauce. You can cook it for 20 to 60 minutes, the longer the better. This goes GREAT with spaghetti squash.
Very easy, very healthy, and MUCH more flavorful than other low-fat chili recipes! Don't be scared away by the longer list of ingredients. All of the spices are dried, easy-to-use, and you probably already have them in your pantry. The few extra minutes are WORTH it!
spicy enchaladas with a side salad and heated refried beans is a perfect dinner any time of year
I can't take credit for this wonderful recipe, it came from a friend of mine. This is a super easy, great tasting dish, cheesy, spicey, and loaded with chicken YUM! This makes so much, it's 24 servings, using 2, 9x13 pans! Great for batch cooking and freezing!
This is not low calorie but is very yummy. It is high in protein and low carb but still a treat to eat.
Especially good for Thanksgiving or other winter holidays. Watch out for brothers-in-law who steal all the pearl onions!
Low calorie, low fat, tasty bean burgers! Great recipe to start with if you've never made vegetarian burgers. Get creative and add your own extra veggies!
Got this from the Kraft website, needed to modify for a few things.
So good the family devoured it in 1 meal!
What inspired this soup was the almost empty box of lasagna noodles! I was tired of looking at it.
This is a good recipe to play around with - use what you have on hand.
