I created this receipe after finding out that I loved cabbage and didn't have many dishes that I could make with it. I love this dish, and so does my husband.
This is how they serve pinto beans at Cracker Barrel restaurants. Delicious!
You can use Broccoli or other veggies for the green beans, and you can substitute other meats for the beef.

My mom has made this for years. It's a favorite in our house, and it's so easy to prepare. You make it in the crock pot, so you can put it on in the morning before work, and by the time you get home it's done. I was very pleasantly surprised to find out that it's a relatively low-cal/low-fat meal! And so delicious. The pork chops are so tender, they pretty much fall apart.
I was reading online about a Philippine recipe for pork chops. This is my modification of it. It was a huge hit with both the husband & the step child. And its pretty reasonable on the calorie side -- Enjoy!
