I've really been having trouble getting enough protein since I don't eat/crave a lot of meat...and I've started losing hair, and my dermatologist suggested it might be lack of protein...so I've been forcing myself to use protein powder, and I don't like to eat things unless they taste good...so I've been looking up recipes and experimenting, and this is one I came up with, and its REALLY good..and I don't even like coffee!
Refrigerated treats, sweet, full of good 'stuff' to take the edge off of a sweet tooth.

This dip/spread makes a nice change from the usual hummous or guacamole. When in temple mode I like to eat it spread it on rice cakes to give eating bread and butter a rest. Makes a nice starter with homemade flat bread served together with good quality olives.
This baked pumpkin tastes and looks as good as pumpkin pie only without the sugar or fat. It has the same firmness as pie filling. You won't even miss the crust. It's wonderful as a substitute for Thanksgiving pumpkin pie.
You may reduce the measurements by half if you want to make less but this is so delicious that you'll want to have leftovers for snacks or to use as a side vegetable.
This is quick and easy burrito I make often, specially if I have to eat on the go. I happen to use a few strips of last night left over pork tenderloin but you can use just about any meat you like. I added an egg, because it was breakfast, but it also makes a great snack (no eggs will take off 70 calories)
This recipe uses NO oil, but butter is used for the topping. You can omit if you like.
This is a great way to use any left over bananas you may have in your kitchen.
Approx 70 cals per serving, not too tart. I drink throughout the day to keep metabolism up.
