Great for Diabetics and Low Glycemic Diets! Here is a yummy way to start of your day! Low in Calories and Fat but Higher in Protein and Fiber, this is going to help you feel fuller longer and not let you Crash.
These are packed full of powerful nutrients. They came from Tosca Reno's Eat Clean book. However, since I've been following the "clean eating" principles I found them to be too sweet. Next time I make them I plan on cutting out most of the agave nectar.
Variation on an old favorite.
I've sometimes added 1 tbsp of all bran buds for a little extra fibre.
3rd version. Originally borrowed from another SP user. Added vanilla NF yogurt this time instead of sour cream, used Splenda Brown Sugar Blend and used grated fresh apples for half of the amount required of applesauce. Made double the quantity this time and froze most of them.
Need a quick pick me up with some protein and that delightful chocolate! Take
1 tsp of peanut butter on a spoon
sprinkle on 1tsp of dark chocolate chips
savor slowly and let it melt in your mouth.
I didn't have eggs so I substituted applesauce and it turned out very moist and sweet! Gonna make it this way from now on!
More nutritious than what you get in the store and way better for you than Cow's milk.
