I got this out of Shape magazine and really liked it. According to Shape, the calories are 421 instead of 495 per serving like the Sparkpeople recipe calculator is showing.
my mom has always made this dressing (or variation of it) for our salads and I finally learned it!!!! I have never actually measured anything for it...just eyeballed it. IT IS DELICIOUS!
There are several variations of this yummy salad/dessert on this website, but not the way I make it! Add a few teaspoons of Splenda, if you have a sweet tooth, or if you are making this for dessert.
I eat it for breakfast sometimes!
This recipe is super easy and makes a lot...2 large bowls. It's great for potlucks. The family loves it! Nutrients are included in nutritional analysis.
Pictured here are the main ingredients for this salad. I was out of seasoned rice vinegar (preferred), so I used white distilled this day. It still came out great.
