These are much quicker and easier to make than fancier nori rolls and taste just the same. The kids love them and the addition of half brown rice adds nutrition without being overpowering. We take them on picnics and in lunches instead of sandwhiches sometimes.
Great for a snack, healthy too!

Great Flavorful Appetizer or Snack! (and easy if you're a student on the go!)
Adapted from a This Food That Wine episode, these are yummy, crispy and peppery chicken nuggets skewered like lollipops for easy dipping and eating! They paired these with a ginger-peach sauce but a plum or Oriental cherry sauce would be equally delicious!
My friend Jolena first introduced this recipe to me and I loved it. It's got the sweet, salty, crunchy and creamy all wrapped into one dish. You can eat it with triscuits or wheat thins (which I do not have calculated in the nutrition). Each serving is 4T.
Great soft biscuits for any occasion! Uncooked mixture is possibly even better-tasting than the final product. Strongly reccomend sampling!

A tea bun is kind of like a regular biscuit with a little sweetness. You can omit the raisins, or substitue for some other dried fruit, if desired.
I'm so glad I have the will power to keep away from these buns, though I don't make them very often because others in my family don't have the same amount of will power.
The warm flavours of cinnamon and almond contrast the tartness of rhubarb in this healthy and tasty muffin recipe. The recipe is also lower in sugar and higher in protein than some recipes. The almonds add a nice dose of healthy fats.
