These are a wonderful, classic Italian crunchy cookie, that is great for anyone who is gluten- or wheat-free! As these sit, they get crunchy throughout. Delicious with any fruit dessert, paired with an ice cream sundae, or on their own with a strong espresso!
Recipe from the "Eat Clean Diet Cookbook". I put single servings in containers in the fridge and had breakfast/snacks for a week. You could also vary the dried fruit or nuts to suit your mood or taste. Really yummy!
These are worth the effort. One of these fresh out of the oven and a glass of ice-cold milk and you're set!
Note: This dough always seems too wet, but it comes out perfectly every time, so don't worry if you can't cut the uncooked dough with a knife as the instructions indicate.
High protein, low calorie snack perfect for your after exercise snack or even as a dessert.
Moist, delicious, flavorful muffins that come together quickly and make a great breakfast. Swap out any other fruit sauce for applesauce; try canned pumpkin, mashed berries, canned butternut squash, mashed banana.
I accidentally made these without the butter and they were still edible, but nowhere near as delicious. Good to know that you can just leave it out and shave off 40 calories and 4g of fat per serving.
Good high fibre breakfast muffins.
Use 1/3 cup of packed brown sugar if not using Splenda blend. Any high fibre bran cereal will work in this recipe. The salt can be reduced to 1/4 tsp. Sour milk can be used instead of buttermilk - to sour milk, add 4 tsp lemon juice OR vinegar to 2 cups milk and let stand 5 minutes.
You are going to love this delicious smoothie and the color of this is absolutely gorgeous definitely worth serving at your next party or bbq!
My regular recipe with no added sugar. Just a trial to see if it's sweet enough with just the bananas.
