This homemade pasta sauce is so good that you'll want to make extras. Freeze it in 1 cup servings for quick defrosting and easy portion control.
Adapted from a recipe I found on Vegweb, but I like different veggies. Beware this makes a ton of food so make sure you use one very large pie plate or maybe a small baking dish for what doesn't fit in a small pie plate.
Note that this recipe does not include added salt. It is good without, but I like to add about 1t salt to the quiche base for added flavor.
This awesome vegan alternative to ordinary lasagna is only 78 calories per serving and super high in vitamin A! We enjoyed in cold the next morning just as much as hot from the oven for dinner.
These are moist, dense muffins that are NOT sugar or fat free...but are still on the healthy side of things.
I baked them to take on a camping trip & they were not only delicious first thing in the morning, but a nice pick-me-up during a hike~!
