I was looking for a way to add some fruits and veggies to my picky daughters diet-I stumbled across this recipe and we really enjoyed it. Make sure to let the meat mix simmer to blend the flavors.
This is a low fat adaptation of the Sloppy Joe recipe that my husband learned form his mother.
Filling turkey sloppy joes, pair with bun and green leafy vegetable or salad. Yum. Substitute other vegetables or add more, peas, carrotts, etc.

Crock pot Sloppy Joes
Yummy homemade sloppy Joe sauce - made with Ground Turkey. The original recipe is from the better baby food cookbook and calls for ground beef. I just made the switch to ground turkey to reduce the fat content. It's yummy either way.
