this recipe I invented while on a 1000 calorie diet, it has a lot of flavor with very few calories! I enjoy it on pita bread with a side pickle!!
It's my version of Giada De Laurentiis' Winter Minestrone. You can meat it up by adding pancetta to the first step. It's a wonderful soup with homemade bread
This is something I tried at the Portland Mall, Maine. Their's had celery and pecans in it. It was goooood! I decided to reproduce it. Here's my take (no pecans or celery)
I made this up to use left over roasted chicken, threw a bunch of stuff in a pot and it turned out pretty good.
Paired with a small salad, this makes a nice light meal. It is also nice if you add some veggie italian sausage.
Crunchy celery, sweet craisins, and exotic curry powder make this chicken salad a winner. Serve on top of a bed of lettuce or as a sandwich or wrap.
Put all ingredients into a blender. Place in a glass pan and freeze.
