This is my basic "everything" recipe. Dried blueberries or chopped dried apricots can be substituted for craisins. OJ for tangerine juice. Seeds can bee left out. etc.
Occasional grits are yummy but need spicing up. This recipe is caloric but give a decent protein and carbo punch.

Easy, cheap, makes a lot, tasty. If they weren't a bit orange, you wouldn't know they were full of carrots! You really need a blender for this one...
100% whole wheat and light at the same time. Could make hamburger buns. Make bigger or smaller. 4 gr fiber each as written here.
I use bread machine for sough, then form, let rise and bake.
Good warm, holds shape, you can eat it on the go plain, put it in a bowl and microwave it with milk, or eat room temp.
