recipe calls for 3/4 cup raisins, but I substituted with blueberries. It called for 1 1/4 cup all purpose flour, but I used 1 cup whole wheat flour & 1/4 c all purpose flour. Recipe called for 1/4 cup vegetable oil, I substituted with unsweetened applesauce.

just cuttin' down on calories where i can. the waffles still come out with a great texture. My sons had me add mashed bananas and blueberries in their waffle batter :) Then I sprinkle with butter buds.
