I created these pancakes when my husband and I were put on a Candida Diet. I only listed wheat flour but actually make them with a mixture of whole wheat, rye and brown rice flours. You can experiment with the flours you like to use and the oil you like to use as well. You can also add more flavor by increasing the cinnamon or adding vanilla. Make them your own!
This is a great Gluten Free low calorie snack. I like to eat it with Gluten Free Pretzels, Tostitos or fresh veggies
This comes very close to "bread." The applesauce can be replaced with 1 1/2 C. canned pumpkin and 1 1/2 tsp. nutmeg for pumpkin bread or 1 1/2 C. banana for banana nut bread.
Red Onions, Celery and Basil make for a nice mix in with hard boiled eggs and and Hellman's with Olive Oil Mayonnaise.
Lentil dish. at hereabmare seasalt and pepper to taste alone with cayenne and chipotle pepper
Serve as a side or with rice for a main meal.
