Oat flour and splenda take off the evil edge of this cookie
Awesomeness found on the back of can - Hands down BEST spinach dip I've had. I actually add a bit more of the spinach than the recipe calls for since it IS spinach dip!
Perfect served with tortilla chips (not included in stats), in fact... Toss in some black beans and/or chicken serve with tortillas or rice instead of chips and call it dinner!
easy to make, great tasting soft pretzels!!
a wonderful, low fat snack!!
I dont like the pretzels and nuts and things, so this is a quick mix with just rice and corn chex... so yummy! :)
This is a delightful desert using fresh blueberrys. However I have substituted blueberries for strawberries, strawberries and rubarb, and rubarb. You can add any fruit of equal amount, you like.
Crunchy, sweet and nutty, these gluten free protein snacks are a good pick me up after a workout or whenever you need to take the edge off your hunger. The mixture of seeds keeps things interesting, and they store really well too - great for school or hiking!
Yet another twist on the good ol’ chocolate chipper, this time I threw in some custard powder and Smarties (the Canadian chocolate, not the American candy!) for flavour, texture and colour! Eggless and whole-grain to boot, these are a joy for kids and adults alike. If you can’t find custard powder (like Bird’s – not the instant kind though) you can substitute measure-for-measure with cook and serve vanilla pudding.
Adapted from recipe from website http://typeamomonadiet.blogspot.com/. Cut flax down to 2 tbsp to make it acceptable for induction.
I have been looking for a long time for a protein bar, or at least something close, that didn't taste either flat or just plain-old bad. Tweaked this one to get around my tree-nut allergies, and finally have the recipe I'd been seeking. These are yummy, and my teenage daughter even likes them!
This is a delicious snack that is easy to whip up, plus it is high in protein and low in fat.
Oh man, nothing better then a sweet potato dip! Awesome to dip veggies, pita chips on sandwiches and more. Can't wait for lunch tomorrow!!! it's so good, you could serve this as a side dish for dinner! Creamy smooth!!
Keeping sugars at a minimum but still using whole ingredients make this banana bread a nutritious diabetic friendly treat.
It's a healthy, humane (though not technically vegan) and still yummy chocolate cake - so you can eat it every day. Uses bananas and apple sauce instead of butter and tastes great.
Here's a yummy alternative to traditional baking! No sugar, low carb and vegan, these muffins are even better than the originals! Loaded with fiber, these are actually GOOD FOR YOU!
