A different variation on black bean soup, but super low in calories and great fiber. Easy to make.
I always make this soup when I start a diet. I believe it is an old Weight Watchers recipe. It is quick to make and very filling. I always make a double batch. I like to keep it on hand for snacks and for those times when I need to feel extra full.
Cabbage Soup without tomatos. Came up with this cabbag soup because I don't like the tomato base cabbage soup diet. After doing the diet for one week, the soup is the only part I wanted to stay on.

This is my Mom's recipe for Split Pea & Ham Soup. She took parts of 3 different recipes and modified them to create this one.
I usually prep this the night before and set it in my crock pot on low when leaving for work the next morning. Nine to eleven hours later dinner is served

This was so delicious and easy to make. You can substitute low-sodium dumplings (from scratch) for the pillsbury crescent rolls.
